"We only had 2 hiccups - it was set-back, behind anothe business which made it difficult to locate & carrying the big, heavy suitcases up/down the stairs to our room. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay. Would stay again, gladly!"

"I have stayed at this location 2 times this year. Quick check in. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Both times the beds were very disappointing. Plenty of pillows, but the beds are worn out. They sleep more like a hammock. The middle of the bed is just gone so you sink farther to the middle of the bed through the night. I would recommend driving 8 miles less, or further, and paying the same price for a comparable room with a good bed in Anamosa. "

"Very nicely remodeled farm house. I love the views of farm ground in that area. I was sceptical of the bed but surprisingly I actually slept great. We had an awesome weekend with all the grand kids. "

"The property had everything we need to enjoy our stay and so much more! The kitchen was fully stocked as if it was yours at home and a grill outside, too. The beds were so comfortable, everything was very clean and very quiet!! It was the perfect place to rest our heads when back in town to visit family, we look forward to our next stay. Thank you! "

"We stayed at this cute cabin for a family/friend concert trip. The cabin has such charm to it. It is in a beautiful, quiet location. There is a "bridge" that some of the group wasn't quite sure they wanted to go over due to the high water... but my husband zipped right over in our Yukon. You are down in a valley and right next to the river, so a little wet and soggy (bring bug spray) but we sat out and enjoyed our evening in the side yard. The morning, we had coffee and enjoyed the porch and then was off to our adventure. We didn't need much being all adults and had a full day of concert planned. The beds are pretty comfy and the rooms are small (but once again, we didn't require much). We had a great weekend and the cabin was exactly what we needed. Thanks, for a great stay! "
